This little hood will keep your little darling warm from the time he or she is born through pre-school. It is perfect for boys or girls. My kids’ hoods seemed to grow with them, thanks to the stretchiness of the knitted fabric, and they wore them on California nights and in Nebraska snowstorms.

No scarves for the little ones, please. Too dangerous. No problem, here; tucked into a jacket or sweater, the long ribbed neck on this helmet is ideal for keeping out the chill of a breeze or a blizzard.

Needles: US 3(3.25mm) circular needle, four US 3(3.25mm) double pointed needles plus sets one and two sizes larger or size to achieve gauge. Two stitch holders, tapestry needle, size G crochet hook.

Yarn: sport weight, 50gm
