Hand Dyed Blue Faced Leicester Yarn

Blue Faced Leicester is my favorite fiber to spin and it would only be fitting that I found a lovely mill spun version to dye. Blue Faced Leicester is a long wool that is still very soft and wonderful to wear next to the skin. It is my new favorite for an all-around versatile yarn. It shows patterned stitches beautifully and the way that it takes color thrills the jacquard knitter in me.

Fiber: 100% Blue Faced Leicester wool yarn
4 ounce skeins/ 330 yards
Gauge: 5.5 to 6 stitches per inch suggested
Needle size 6-7 US/ 4-4.5mm recommended
