50% Bombyx Silk/50% Merino Wool. Max is a what I call the best of both worlds, having the bounce and memory of Merino wool and the shimmer and brilliance of Bombyx silk. It is a well balanced single ply and makes a smooth fabric that will show off patterned stitches as well as the richness of the dyes.

Gauge: 16 stitches & 20 rows per 4 X 4 inch square with size 10 US/6 mm needles
