Hand Dyed Merino Angora Yarn  

Buttery soft, bouncy, lofty and versatile. These are some of the words that came to mind when our testers tried this fabulous new hand dyed Merino Angora yarn. It takes color with great depth but will also have a nice little blurry halo, although not enough to obscure lace stitches.  Kerry Palm of Minneapolis knitted the luxury sock on the right using size 2 US needles.

We can happily recommend this hand dyed Merino  Angora yarn for luxury socks, mittens, hats, scarves and sweaters. The 20% Angora is just enough to give warmth and softness without taking over. We have skeined this yarn into 4 ounce, 540 yard skeins, which are perfect for one skein projects.

Hand Dyed Merino/Angora Yarn 80/20
4 ounce/ 540 yard skeins
Gauge: 4.5 to 5 stitches per inch for soft projects
Recommended needle size: 5 to 7US for soft projects, size 2 US for socks.
