William Tikunoff designed and knit this mitered sweater for his wife, using a couple of colors of Monte Cristo cotton yarn; a deep version of Monet's Garden and a custom dyed complimentary blue.
William describes his work: "This is a sweater in-the-round using a mitered diamond technique. The only sewing was at the shoulder line, and I used an abbreviated pick-up-and-slip stitch technique to accomplish this. An I-cord around the sleeves and hem completed the finishing." |
