Caribbean
Shore Handspun Hand Dyed
Yarn
You know
those delicious colors as seen from the shore of
the Caribbean? This is what I am seeing in these
luscious big skeins of buttery soft baby alpaca,
spun directly from the dyed locks. Aqua, teal,
cobalt, gold and all of the colors in between. I
spun three skeins in this project and yes they
are big but if you want to make a stunning
project, this is for you. Very much one of a
kind. I would incorporate this into a phenomenal
throw.

Jurassic Cashmere Handspun
Hand Dyed Yarn
I could spend hours staring
at rocks on the property, here at an old gold
mining site. This colorway, Jurassic, is an echo
of some of the things that I see in my mind’s
eye. It is an earthy riot of color, spun with
the most luxurious of fibers; superfine and
silky cashmere. Fabulous.
Fiber: 100% Superfine cashmere
Gauge: 4 stitches to the inch suggested
Needle size: 9 US suggested
Hand wash.

Silk/Merino Bhutan
Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn
It has been a lot of fun
watching the colors emerge as they wish, with
this dramatic colorway, Bhutan. The silk/merino
fiber lent itself to finer spinning, which makes
for generous yardage. Pair this with black, blue
or a cool brown, to bring out the magic.
Fiber 50/50 superfine merino/Bombyx silk
Gauge 6 to 7 stitches per inch
Needle size: 2 to 3 US recommended
Hand Wash.
Three skeins were produced this time:
2 @ 3 ounces/300 yards $57 each
1 @ 2.8 ounces/290 yards $53

Baby Alpaca Locks Plumdinger

alpaca saddle that was Given The Business with
Plumdinger in a pot and then spun directly from
the locks as I was demonstrating at the Oregon
Flock & Fiber Festival this year.
Fiber: 100% superfine baby alpaca
gauge: about 3.5 stitches per inch
Needle size: 10-10.5 US

GoneFishing Cashmerino
Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn Sometimes, what I think of when putting
color on a fiber and what actually comes out of
the pot can surprise me. This subtle blending of
Olive greens and browns is complimented with
gold and the flash of blue/green. Photos never
do these things justice but I call it Gone
Fishing' because it looks like a speckled trout.
Three skeins remain of this earthy and delicious
project of my favorite 50/50 cashmere/merino
blend.
4.2 ounces /266 yards $81.90
2.8 ounces /190 yards $54.60
2.4 ounces/ 144 yards $46.80

Ruby in 100% Angora
Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn
I do miss having angora rabbits but this is the
next best thing; lovely 100% angora yarn that
has only begun to bloom. This is a blush of a
red.
Fiber: 100% angora
Gauge about 5 stitches per inch
Needle size 9 US
(I actually suggest larger needles so that your
angora can bloom
beautifully)

Cashmere-Merino Olive Tones
Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn
Buttery Soft and subtle green tones make this
yarn perfect for a guy or gal who loves luxury
on the down-low. This yarn has the hand of 100%
cashmere, without the high price tag and so it
is a winning combination. You will get a gauge
of about 4 to 4.5 stitches per inch with a US 9
or 10 needle. The point is to allow the bloom of
the cashmere to blur your stitches and so there
is no need to knit this too tightly.
Cashmere-Merino Jungle
Glorious riots of teal and
bronze and other bits and bobs of color make up
this gorgeous colorway. This amazing
cashmere/merino has been a hit so I finally got
the last two skeins spun. This will knit up at
the usual 4 to 5 stitches per inch and as the
yarn blooms, the stitches will blur beautifully.
Needle suggestion sine 9 US.
Three skeins @ 3.6
ounces/194 yards $70 each
