Silk Road
Hand Dyed Handspun Yarn

Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn from Lisa SouzaSilk Road is a combination of my Bhutan colorway in a silk merino blend, plied with a natural cashmere/merino blend. It is earthy and soft and will have a lovely halo, when that amount of cashmere begins to emerge. Make a shawl or cowl or use it in colorwork in a garment, if you have some beautiful natural solid color in a similar gauge!

Thanks to many requests from spinners, I make available many of the same hand dyed roving fibers that I spin and turn into my hand dyed handspun yarns, fibers that range from Blue Faced Leicester wool to the softest merino, silk merino, angora, cashmere and baby Camel. Let my hand dyed fiber inspire your next project.
